So I am on my way to the big gift show in New York City along with my trusty assistant Jillian.  We headed there via Washington DC to visit my son, William.  You can’t help but be in awe of the amazing things you will see at all the free museums.  As much as everyone teases me for being a city girl and not one with nature I have to tell you my favorite 2 visits this year were the butterfly garden and the botanical garden.  I can’t wait to see how it influences what I am drawn to at the show. The one that was the most captivating to me was the “plain” brown one.  If you look closely at the picture you will see this hint of blue. When she opens her wings the inside is the most beautiful shade of blue.  To me it was like reading the first chapter of a book and the last, if you don’t take in everything the middle has to offer you miss the beauty of the story.
